After selling over a million albums worldwide, Swedish artist Jay-Jay Johanson presents Bury the Hatchet, his 11th album. Considered one of the pioneers of the trip-hop scene since his debut in the late 90s, Jay-Jay Johanson sings sensitive lyrics in a soft voice, reminiscent of Chet Baker, with an immediately recognizable melodic touch. The album's film noir atmosphere is carried by Jay-Jay's elastic and melancholic voice, who also takes a break for two solo piano tracks conceived as themes for imaginary TV series.
