Born in Lille in 1972, Chloé Mons grew up in an eclectic family where Rock'n'Roll and contemporary art were very present. In 1994, in Paris, after studying Drama at the Conservatoire and obtaining a master's degree in Cinema, she moved from small roles on the big screen to her writing and song notebooks, which never left her. In 2002, she recorded the Song of Songs with her husband Alain Bashung. In 2006, two albums were released: Chienne d'un Seul, solo, and La Ballade de Calamity Jane. In 2011, she went to Kingston, New York, to record her new album "Walking" with Malcolm Burn. After an album of covers of 50s standards (Il Buio), she reunited the "Walking" team and returned in November 2012 to set up her caravan in southern India, in Mysore, Karnataka, to record "Soon". In 2015, after studying piano for 7 years, she wrote and composed an album face-to-face with this instrument, which was like a new territory to discover. This was ALECTRONA, for which she enlisted the magician Blixa Bargeld (Einstürzende Neubauten, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) to produce the album.
