Grenade - White Lies EP

With GRENADE, the air is suffocating, charged with revolt and a longing for elsewhere. We're caught up in a volcanic sound where the tension and melancholy of a suave voice recalls the British crank wave (Folly Group, Squid, Do Nothing...).

GRENADE was born from the meeting of David Orts and Jules Couturié on their return from London. The two multi-instrumentalists are charged with the same energy, and are soon joined by Ambre Tholance - a colorful punk character - on bass guitar and Louis Bonnin on drums.

The quartet relies on angular guitars, lively drum patterns and captivating vocals. GRENADE has cut its teeth in small Parisian venues and just released its 1st EP, mixed in Brighton by Theo Verney (Egyptian Blue, English Teacher) and mastered by Mickaël Rangeard (Iggy Pop, Stuck in the Sound, General Elektriks, Last Train,…).
