After the viral success of their videos, Les Padrés, military chaplains, are releasing a 13-track album on May 27, 2022. Half of the profits will be donated to injured military personnel as a token of our deep gratitude.
The three Padrés, Charles Troesch (former member of the group Les Prêtres, Air Force and Gendarmerie), Pierre Fresson (vicar general, French Navy) and Pierre Guihaire (deacon, French Army) sing their faith and are accompanied by the choir of the Prytanée National Militaire, the great organ, an acoustic guitar, a violin, bagpipes and Scottish snare drums.
"Serving the strength of spirit" of military personnel is the primary mission of their chaplains. The tracks were chosen as much for their emotional and spiritual power as for the memory they carry. These songs pay tribute to the military vocation and bear witness to the most essential questions raised by those who dedicate their lives to it.
