Few loves last a lifetime, and even fewer artistic careers keep the creative flame intact. Areski Belkacem is one of those rare artists for whom the creative impulse remains unaltered. With Long courrier, his third solo album in nearly 60 years, he delivers twelve songs like so many love letters, carried by disarming sincerity.

Far from commercial diktats, Areski follows his own path, faithful to an intimate vision of music.
