The Lanskies, a legendary rock band from Normandy, worked with the great English producer Clive Martin on this dense and accomplished album. It opens with "48 Hours," an explosive combination of their main sources of inspiration (punchy rock, edgy new wave). A fantastic rock anthem! The tracks follow one another like a series of danceable bombs. "Move It" is a crazy track, blending hip-hop and rock with an energy reminiscent of the Beastie Boys. In the middle, the album ventures into more subdued territory with the ironic "If You Join Us" and the ethereal ballad "Rumours." But even on these lighter tracks, The Lanskies once again demonstrate a keen sense of melody. "Sunny Rose," a rock and lyrical poem, concludes this iconic album of modern and open-minded rock with its epic riffs.
