Tom Poisson - Jean-Michel

Just twenty years into his career, with fourteen albums released and his seventh solo album on the way. Trying, insisting, varying forms, starting over (...) for Poisson to get even closer to himself. Jean-Michel is his legal first name. It's him. The 14 songs that make up this new album are him, in all his intimacy, his DNA, so to speak. Him, a father. Him, an artist. Him, now an orphan, a citizen of an uneasy but optimistic world, who dances when life leans, who doubts when others know, who runs just before fear paralyzes him. Album after album, Tom spreads his flying-fish wings, offering us a relief theater imbued with humanity and thus manages to irrigate his too-large imagination.
