Olivier Libaux - Uncovered Queens Of The Stone Age

In 2013, Olivier released the album "Uncovered Queens of the Stone Age" under his label Music for Music Lovers. A great fan and admirer of Josh Homme and the band since their beginnings, Olivier presented the project to them in 2011. Once he had their agreement, he gathered 12 of his favorite female singers from around the world and enlisted his loyal collaborators, Frédéric Carayol for mixing, Raphaël Chassin for percussion, and finally Greg Calbi for mastering. He thus created 12 extremely personal versions of Queens of the Stone Age songs, a new demonstration of the beauty of these tracks and the talent of their authors.
Olivier Libaux passed away in September 2021 at the age of 58. This year, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of this album.
