DAGUERRE - ROGUE BODY

Eleven intense tracks exploring our intimate territories, our escapes, our contradictions, and our porousness with the world. Olivier Daguerre draws a map of the soul, where impulses, doubts, and urges collide. For the lyrics, as on "Virages", his previous album, Olivier collaborates for the second time with lyricist Louise Quillet.

Eleven tracks sprinkled with strings, brass, electric guitars, and slide guitars where Daguerre revisits the rock sounds he loves, but where, as a counterpoint, two piano-vocal tracks are unsettling and find their place.

The album was produced by Esthen Dehut, who brought together around Daguerre's voice: Loïc Pontieux on drums, Nicolas Fiszman on bass, Nicolas Auger on piano and keyboards, Charlotte Fleury and Sandrine Régot on backing vocals, Hervé Pédeflous on guitar, bouzouki and violin, Daoud on trumpet, Sébastien Chouard on slide guitar and electric guitar.

Between lucid poetry and vital impulse, each song is like an escape, an act of resistance or surrender, questioning the freedom of our bodies and thoughts.
