For his 12th studio album, Jay-Jay Johanson sets the tone right from the opening track: "Not Time Yet." The atmosphere will be imbued with a cinematic trip-hop, the Swedish crooner's favorite universe since his debuts. After a first single, "Heard Somebody Whistle," and its haunting whistled gimmick, Jay-Jay continues to spread his voice over often dark, mysterious melodies, as if haunted and connected to another dimension. On "Lost Forever," he invites Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins, while on "Fever," he is joined by singer Jeanne Added for a fusion duet, one of the highlights of this sublime album.
