After leading the group "3 Minutes Sur Mer", reaching the semi-finals of The Voice, and playing the role of Victor in Marc Lavoine's musical "Les Souliers Rouges", Guilhem Valayé returns with a first French folk/blues EP, "Aubrac", influenced by the electric buzz of Montreal.
It is a social and ecological observation, a reflection on the complex beauty of human relationships. But also a return to simple, bare, rustic land for a raw and intimate guitar/voice album. The track "Veux-tu?" illustrates the sober power of this EP, with its delay guitars, hazy synths, and the stubbornness of a modular bass echoing the choruses of wide-open spaces. It paints the hope of finding in the hand of another the answers to collapses.
