With SOLAIRE, her new studio album, Yael Naim signs a deeply personal work, at the crossroads of the intimate and the universal.
Entirely self-produced and recorded in her own studio, the album bears witness to a quest for independence and authenticity. "I wanted to give myself total freedom of exploration and time," she confides.
SOLAIRE brings together the multiple musical universes that have shaped her, blending classical and jazz harmonies with contemporary sounds. Sensitive, modern and open music, where orchestrations intertwine with organic electronic textures.
Yael Naim became known worldwide in 2008 with her song New Soul, which became a global hit after being used by Apple in the MacBook Air advertising campaign.
She has since received numerous distinctions, including Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters (2021) and several Victoires de la Musique awards, notably Female Artist of the Year (2011, 2016) and Best World Music Album (2009).
