Jay-Jay Johanson released an exclusive EP around his new single "Amen" especially for Disquaire Day / Record Store Day. The song is a vocal piano piece that turns out to be a classic that could come from the "Great American Songbook". Jay-Jay talks about all the cultural exchanges that shape and punctuate a love story, to be more precise: A failed love story. In addition to the "Addictive Youth Remix" of the song, 2 other remixes are present on the EP produced by French singer/songwriter Léonard Lasry. On "Romeo" we can hear his piano touch and his background vocals mixed with the presence of a funky guitar, rare in Jay Jay's discography. On "Why Wait Until Tomorrow", he invited Amina for a great vocal featuring.
