Science fiction rumba, orchestral French chanson, post-punk rebetiko, minimalist tropicalia, Creole madrigals, killer slow dance, telepathic pop: Soleil Enculé is Arlt’s fourth album, a fresh start rather than a continuation. Since their first album, La Langue, Eloïse Decazes & Sing Sing have formed one of the most surprising and captivating groups on the contemporary French underground scene. This new record comprises 9 lighthearted or melancholic but always radiant, lush, and sunny songs in thirty minutes. Recorded in the supernatural joy of reunion and collective encounters, Soleil Enculé was created by 5 people: with the always brilliant guitarist Mocke, Ernest Bergez (Sourdure, Kaumwald, Orgue Agnès) in production, and Clément Vercelletto (Kaumwald, Orgue Agnès) on percussion, brass, wind, and electronic wanderings.
