2023 marks 10 years for Baja Frequencia, celebrating a decade of musical evolution since their beginnings in a mutant scene. For this significant milestone, the duo releases the EP ‘Fast & Purrious’, a reflection of their maturation and unique sonic signature.
Combining South American and Caribbean influences, and blending electro, reggaeton, techno, kuduro, jungle, guaracha, and footwork, the EP explores a rich and hybrid post-club universe. Composed mainly on analog machines and fueled by samples captured on tour, it offers a raw and creative sound, while also featuring two collaborations with Chocolate Remix and Wanny S King.
