After their first EP Catzilla, the album Hot Kats, and a tour in Colombia and Argentina, Baja Frequencia presents their new EP "Sudamericat." The idea of bringing together these exclusively South American collaborations on a single record was born over a glass of Fernet or Aguardiente with many local artists during their 2019 tour. Two years later, and after a health crisis that disrupted the project's progress, the EP is finally being released. We find Latin American artists featured, such as Frank Takuma & Kimbaya Ripuff from Colombia, Faauna and Chocolate Remix from Argentina, and many more! This EP offers 6 tracks designed for the dancefloor, a hybridization of typically South American beats (reggaeton/baile funk/cumbia) and influences more specific to the group (acid/techno/juke/trap).
